Brass is a favoured option for metal camlock couplings because it has excellent corrosion resistance, is affordable and has great strength and durability.

Brass cam couplings are generally used on low pressure PVC suction hoses, and lay flat discharge hoses in marine environments and for fuelling applications. They provide for a quick, easy connection that can be made just using hand pressure, with no tools necessary.

The type B brass cam and groove coupler can be used with adapters of the same diameter that come from the same supplier. Camlock fittings obtained from other sources may be of inferior quality and not compatible or interchangeable with those supplied by Provincial Rubber, so when ordering brass camlock fittings it is best to source all you need from our stock.
