Type E

The Type E camlock adaptor is part of Provincial Rubber’s extensive range of quick release hose and pipe couplings (known as cam and groove couplings) which allow for the fast and easy connection and disconnection of hoses and pipework.

Camlock couplings consist of two parts – the adaptor and coupler. The adaptor – like this type E aluminium camlock adaptor – is inserted into a coupler of the same size, then the arms are lowered to create a seal. Type E camlock adaptors are mostly used with Type C, B, D and DC fittings of the same size.

These couplings are favoured by industries like agriculture and the petro-chemical sector, allowing for quick, easy and reliably sealed connections that can be accomplished by one person without the need for tools. They can be used with PVC suction hose, rubber hoses and milling hoses for delivering water, petroleum, coolants, fuels, chemicals, powders and slurry but are not suitable for compressed air or steam applications.
