Type D (BSPP)

Aluminium Type D (BSPP) camlock couplers are particularly suited for using with PVC suction hose, rubber suction hoses and milling hoses for the delivery of water, petroleum, fuels and slurry.

Aluminium is a great material for camlock fittings because it has good abrasion and chemical resistance properties, as well as being lightweight, high strength and economically priced.

The Type D Aluminium camlock has a female camlock to female camlock BSPP thread, and is available in a wide range of standard sizes. They are often used with Type A adapters and can be used with Type E, F and DP adapters of the same size.

Camlock couplings are not suitable for compressed air or steam applications. No matter what type of camlock coupler or adapter you are using we recommend that you order all the mating parts from us as well, because camlock parts from different suppliers or manufacturers are not necessarily interchangeable or compatible.
