The top quality flange insulation kits we supply are used as an insulator between dissimilar metal flanges, or to electrically isolate sections of pipework in cathodic protection systems, preventing the flow of electrostatic charge along the pipelines.

The HDS-1 Range kit form is comprised of a superior performance high dielectric strength universal compressed gasket material, based on a blend of aramid/inorganic fibres and special additives with a high quality nitrile rubber binder system.

HDS-1 is suitable for many applications, including oils, solvents, high pressure steam and gases, including oxygen. It is widely used in offshore installations, sea water environments, chemical plants and oil refinery pipelines. 

HDS-1 was developed using innovative manufacturing technology to produce a high performance sealing sheet material with good handling and cutting characteristics along with exceptional levels of electrical resistance.

This product is available in different thickness ranges, as gaskets or standard sheet sizes.
