We supply a range of HDS-1 and phenolic-based flange insulation kits. Our HDS-1 Full Face flange insulation kits guarantee a perfect seal, minimising the ingress of conductive foreign matter between the portions of the flanges outside the raised faces and reducing the risk of bridging. We also have HDS-1 Inner bolt circle kits and HDS-1 RTJ (Ring Type Joint) kits. We also stock phenolic full face, inner bolt and RTJ kits.

Use cases and applications

Flange insulation kits are used extensively in the petrochemical and oil refinery sectors, as well as seawater environments. In these applications, the transfer of volatile fluids through pipelines results in unstable conditions, where stray electrical currents can trigger explosions. In environments where explosions are not as much of a concern, flange insulation kits are employed to prevent flange and joint corrosion and static current induction.
