Type C

Brass camlocks are a great lightweight option for quickly connecting and disconnecting hoses and pipework. The easy operation just requires opening the coupler arms, inserting the matching adaptor into the coupler, then folding the arms down to complete a tightly sealed join.

Provincial Rubber has all types of brass camlocks (also known as cam and groove) couplings and adaptors available in a full range of sizes.

The Type C brass camlock coupler is compatible with our Type E, A, F and Dust Plug (DP) adaptors of the same size. They are used widely on low pressure suction and discharge hoses in agriculture and industry, especially in marine environments because brass is corrosion resistant. They are ideal for use in situations where frequent hose changes are required.

These strong and durable Type C couplers can be used with water, petroleum products and chemicals and are less expensive than stainless steel couplings. Camlocks are not suitable for compressed air or steam applications.
